About Us

The Elizondo Family Story

The Elizondo family has been passionate about helping others since Dr Andres Elizondo started practicing medicine in 1982. He and his wife Noemi Elizondo always gave generously of their time and money, never asking for anything in return. They raised their 6 children in Alice, TX,  instilling a passion for helping the underserved. 

It was in this spirit that the Elizondo Foundation was started. The foundation’s purpose is to help the underserved and underrepresented; young or old.

We work in conjunction with others to bring medical help and joy to those in need. Some of our initiatives include providing wheelchairs, building wheelchair ramps, and providing memorable experiences to those who have experienced trauma.

Some of these people have fought for this country, and have fallen through the cracks for too long.
